My Name is Tim Adams, and I’m in long term recovery. I was born and raised in Chesterfield, VA, and I graduated from Meadowbrook High School in 2003.

I started making bad decisions in high school. That led to my drug addiction which ended with me hanging around the wrong people. My criminal life was a consequence of drugs.

In 2016, I was the 12th person placed in the HARP program. It changed my life. Since being released, God has blessed me in every aspect of my life. I now run Adams Insulation company in Chesterfield where I employ some former program members. I live in Chesterfield with my Fiancé, Ashley, my 15 year old son, and my two step sons. We have 2 dogs and cats as well.

I started and facilitate the weekly HARP RVA meeting and also give back to the Chesterfield drug court program, which I had Graduated from. I am an active member of my church: The Bridge in Amelia.

God gave be the opportunity to become a part of HARP RVA, and that has changed my life forever.
