My name is Shawn and I’m in long term recovery. What that means to me is: I haven't found it necessary to abuse mind or mood altering substances for over 7 years.

I used drugs for over 20 years, in and out of jail, and couldn't figure how to keep my life from spiraling. In 2016, God rescued me from drugs. I was arrested and decided to surrender my old ways and allow my new path with God to guide me.

Only a few days later I entered the HARP Program, and my life changed.

Karl Leonard granted me vision, and I want to thank God for giving me a second chance. I now have the ability to support my family, maintain a steady job, own a car and rent an apartment.

There is always hope.
